Step 22 - Main Level Steel, Plumbing, and Electrical
 
                                          WITH COMPACTION COMPLETED, WE'RE READY FOR STEEL AND ROUGH-INS

            Art came back from his lengthy vacation and installed the big plumbing.

                                 
                                After attempting to cut in with a pickaxe, we used a backhoe to cut trenches and then recompacted.

       The site is now ready for forming and to continue running the steel. 

        
                                    Everyone helps out with the steel and it goes very fast.

             We worked on a Saturday to meet the pour date...

                    So Chip got to help shovel out a footing!  

    Surprisingly, our fabulous electrician, Glenmore, is still smiling after working 5 straight days including Sunday, often working until dark.

 
 
         We're ready for the big pour!!!!
