We stayed at a terrific hotel located next to The Acropolis and close
to the Plaka. This is The Athens Gate hotel.
We had rooms in the back of the hotel, where it was very quiet.
The hotel bar and restaurant were on the top floor. We loved the
views at breakfast every morning.
We could see The Acropolis and the
Temple of Olympic Zeus. The first place we took new arrivals
was the top of the hotel; we also had dinner there one night.
At night all of the ruins are
illuminated, so the city is very beautiful. This website is for the
