We flew to Colorado
Springs to surprise Paul (and Suzanne) for Paul's 70th
birthday.
Since we were in hiding, we didn't get pictures of Paul
& Suzanne's surprised faces at the surprise party,
but almost all of Paul's Wisconsin relatives were there,
was well as his many friends.
This was one of the best gifts...a tree with 70 Tootsie
Roll Pops and the sign that said "70 SUCKS".
The next day, Paul quickly
whipped up pizza dough and heated up his wood-burning
pizza oven.
Paul made some mighty-fine pizzas and Chip cooked them in
the oven. Delicious!
Of course while Paul was working, everyone else was
munching.
...or playing cards.
Mike and Jennifer are doing
what???
Paul and Suzanne have beautiful glass art in their
house. This was the first time we got to see the
finished house.
Chip is all smiles.
Did I mention that Paul, in addition to a
homemade pizza dinner, also made a big breakfast and a
German dinner for 16
without any notice??? Paul makes it look so
easy, when we know it isn't. We're still amazed.
We had a fun, fast trip to Colorado
Springs. It was great to see Paul turn 70 and both
Suzanne and Paul looking good! This
