We spent the afternoon at our favorite private beach on the South Shore
with Cathy, Gary, Parker, Sam, Kaitlyn and Kiayh.
The weather was still warm so we were all quick to get in the water and
relax.
Zuni digs his hole (throwing sand all over our stuff) and then lays in
it to stay cool.
Sam and Parker with the girls...they make a
nice-looking group.
Chip grilled corn and warmed up the brisket that Gary had cooked the
night before in the wood-burning oven.
The fellas tried their hands
at fishing, but nothing was biting. The rest of us relaxed
in the water.
Gary took the fellas out in the Hobie pedal kayaks to teach them how to
use them.
Parker cruises in very easily.
Zuni joins us in the water for a short
dip.
Jasmine, Cathy's rotweiller, lives in the water.
Best of
all, when we got home, someone had given our neighbor, Scott, a large
lobster, which he gave the boys.
It was still alive, so they got to
kill it, clean it, and Chip grilled it. Parker and Sam really
enjoyed it. Hmmmm good.
