Nona returned to St Croix
for some well-deserved R&R.
It was great to have Nona back on
island. It had been 3 years since she was last here.
Since the Lobster Reef is no longer there, the first stop
was Off The Wall.
Nona caught up with Gregor
there.
Zuni loves Gentle Winds. Gary and
Chip played a little cribbage there. We also had
dinner at the Salt River Marina.
The apartment dining booth wasn't done, but we improvised
for dinner.
Here we are at Gentle
Winds, enjoying a nice afternoon before taking a road trip
to...
Home Depot!
Nona gave us to The Big Easy cooker, which is way cool.
We enjoyed an
afternoon in Christiansted, with lunch at the Brew
Pub. Leftover french fries were fed to the Tarpon.
Big Keith had a
nice barbecue at The Lone Wolf Observatory. It was
great to see everyone at Keith's again!
We have so much fun when Nona is here!
Keith was the grillmaster, and everyone
brought side dishes.
We all demonstrated our musical talents...except Chip.
We had a great time with the North Shore Bubbas that
night!
Nona even got to watch our first concrete pour...woo hoo
(NOT!)
Of course, we had to have at least one more
night at Off The Wall with some of the gang.
We christened The Big Easy with a pork butt! We are
huge fans of an oil-less deep fryer for turkeys and
roasts!
We
look forward to Nona's next visit when she is ready to
take a break from raising horses! This website is for the
