The fourth and final stop on our summer vacation was Minneapolis to
visit Eric and Jennifer.
We could only spend 36
hours
there and next time we are definitely staying longer;
Minnepolis is beautiful in the summer!
In addition to some really fine
dining, we were treated to Segway tours of Minnepolis.
First, they let you try it out to see if you can
balance.
Next you pick out a stylish helmet.
We all did pretty well on these things, but each of us had our
own "loss of control" story.
We rode these machines all over the
downtown and negotiated brick sidewalks, dirt paths,
roadways, hills, and sidewalks.
There was one family on the tour
that made us all laugh with their ineptness. They made us look
like
professionals...
We had dinner with our BVI sailboat mates at a
scrumptious Italian restaurant.
Our visit with Eric and Jennifer was much too short...and we're looking
forward to seeing them in Greece! This
