Clada flew with her mom to spend a Christmas week with Kevin, Kathi,
Parker and Dylan
Clada and Mom dressed in Christmas garb for their
flights.
Kevin and Parker met us at the airport.
We
stopped at Juniors for a drink.
Mom enjoyed an early birthday
celebration.
Mom 4-wheeled it across the field where Parker was playing lacrosse.
It was a little chilly but we had great seats to watch the scrimmage.
Parker is ready to play.
Dylan enjoys riding Mom's scooter.
Lacrosse is very physical!
We ended up at
Juniors for dinner. It is a really great casual restaurant with
good live music.
Parker demonstrates
how to play video games with mom watching with 3-D glasses.
Kathi had the house fully decorated inside and out. We had fabulous dinners, with crab claws being a
favorite of the men folk!
Mom entertains herself with her
Ipad.
Kevin drafts Christmas gift
certificates.
Dylan waits patiently for gift opening.
There were so many presents that we had to take a breakfast break!
It took several hours to open all of the presents...even the beagles
had a great Chrismas.
Later, there was the famous Monteith Hearts competition...should I
mention Dylan kicked our butts?
There were lots of good eats, including the world's
largest gummy and a delicious pineapple upside down cake.
We even visited Mom's office building in Old Round Rock.
We took a driving tour of the University of Texas
at Austin, where Parker will be studying engineering in the Fall.
We had a terrific time in Austin...the weather was cold but the
hospitality more than made up for it! This
